What Makes Us Different from a Bank

Since 1935, Trax Credit Union (formerly Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union) in Tampa Bay has been a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. In 1935, 14 Railroad employees met in Tampa and decided to charter the credit union. Over time, the original $70 in assets has grown to over $400 million in assets, over 40,000 members and many locations!

Not only can you visit an office, we offer a fully functional mobile banking platform, including a responsive design website, Apple® app, and Google Play app. We believe the founders would be pleased to know that Trax Credit Union has remained true to their founding values of service to employees by offering a place where employees can conveniently and consistently  conduct their banking to save and borrow money safely. We're better than a bank, we're a credit union!

The Value of Membership
