Business Development Specialist

Trax Credit Union is seeking a knowledgeable, accomplished Business Development Specialist to help our credit Union grow. 

Our business development team is responsible for increasing membership in designated area according to goals set by developing relationships with existing and new company groups. Specialists work with new SEGs; enrolling SEG representative, educating the representative about their role and our program. 

Experience: 

  • 2-5 years of financial institution experience (Preferred)
  • 5-7 years of related experience in business development or business-to-business sales.
  • 3 years of sales in person or over the phone.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Job Type: Full-time - The work hours for this job are typically 8:00 am-5:00 pm (6:00 on Fridays) and occasionally Saturdays, 9 am-12 pm

Salary: From $56,000 anually

Computer Support Manager

Trax Credit Union is seeking an inquisitive, motivated, Computer Information Manager. The ideal candidate for this job is dependable, detail-oriented and possesses diverse, hands-on technical knowledge. Other desired skills include the following:

  • Associates degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ Years of technical experience in IT, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Progressive experience in supporting PC/LAN hardware, software and communication products including IBM AS400/iSeries/Windows and Linux
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience working independently as well as in a team setting.

Collections Specialist - Member Care Advocate

Trax Credit Union currently has an opportunity in our Member Care - Collections Department located in Tampa. The ideal candidate for this job will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for member-service. The basic function of this role is to develop an action plan to bring delinquent account current; skip trace; pursue delinquent and charged off accounts with garnishment, levy, or deposition for recovery; obtain judgments if necessary while performing duties in compliance with Fair Debt Collection Act and other collection regulations and CU policies. Attend mediation and court proceedings, file lawsuits, & perform other duties as required.

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in financial collections, skip tracing & recovery experience, preferably in a Credit Union
  • Assertiveness in working with members to resolve their past due situations
  • Diligence in follow up and strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time - This is an in-person position at our corporate headquarters in Tampa with the opportunity to work remote after 90 days. The work hours for this job are typically 8:00-5:00 (6:00 on Fridays).

Salary: From $18.50 per hour with the opportunity to earn incentives

Call Center Representative - Bilingual Spanish

Trax Credit Union currently has an opportunity in our Call Center located in Tampa. The ideal candidate for this job will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for member-service. A few must-haves include the following

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience as teller, or in call center with a financial institution
  • Product Sales Experience
  • Spanish speaking required

Job Type: Full-time - The work hours for this job are typically 8:00 am-6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Full-Time Float Teller

Trax Credit Union currently has an opportunity as a float teller, covering our 9 branches in the Tampa area. The ideal candidate for this job will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for member-service. A few must-haves include the following

Job Type: Full-time - The work hours for this job are typically 8:15 am - 5:15 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:15 am - 6:15 pm Friday and occasionally Saturdays, 9 am-12 pm.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour + $160 biweekly mileage allowance

Part-Time Junior Member Care Advocate

Trax Credit Union currently has an opportunity as a Junior Member Care Advocate. The basic function of this position is to analyze a member’s past payment record and the relationship with the Credit Union to develop the most effective approach to resolving delinquency. The Junior Member Care Advocate is expected to pursue a course of action that will quickly and successfully motivate the member to pay in accordance with CU procedures. The Junior Collector is tasked with bankruptcy duties, post repossession clerical duties, processing invoices and insurance. Act as liaison between external recovery vendors.  

  • High school diploma 
  • Minimum of six months of collections experience, preferably in a credit union
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with members as well as co-worker

Job Type: Part-time - 25 hours weekly. Departmental hours are: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays with one rotating Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Extended hours, weekends and overtime may be required if business needs warrant.

Salary: From $16.50 per hour
