Online/Mobile Banking FAQs
No paperwork is needed to enroll in Online Banking. Simply contact us during regular business hours and request to enroll. If you choose to enroll online, the process is multi-step and will take several minutes (for security reasons). You can follow our Online Banking enrollment instructions.
Mobile Banking allows you to bank on your own terms, access your accounts, transfer money, make deposits, and more on the go.
To activate Mobile Banking:
- Download the Trax CU app on your mobile device.
- On your mobile device, log into Online Banking.
- Once you’re in Online Banking, click on Services then Device Activation to retrieve the code needed to complete your activation.
Once you log in, you will see a listing of all your accounts and their available balance. Simply click on the account you would like to access to view more information, make deposits, make transfers, or pay loans that you have with us.
With regard to security, Mobile Banking employs industry best practices. Our mobile services offer the following security safeguards:
- Fully encrypted, end-to-end using SSL
- Username and password required
- Uses the same username and password as online banking
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) supported
- eAlert is secure because neither your account number nor detailed personal information is transmitted via text message. Trax CU text banking will never send unsolicited text messages.
Yes. Each account owner can create and use their own Online Banking login. Since online banking profiles are tied to each individual's Social Security number, every joint owner can securely access the shared account using their own username and password.
To receive alerts for your account(s):
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Select Settings under the User Profile section, then select Edit Email. If you’ve already signed up for eAlerts, your email address should appear in this section.
- To add another email address click the add button and enter your email address.
- Next, check the eAlert box next to your email address to activate this program.
- A disclosure will pop up. Please agree to the disclosure and save.
- Select Services and then click eAlerts. Next, click the add button.
To create eAlerts in Online Banking:
- Select the account suffix (checking, savings, money management, etc.) you would like to monitor.
- Select the type of alert you want to receive, the comparison, and a numeric value that will trigger your notification.
- At the bottom, select the email address you want to receive the eAlert notification and click submit.
- eAlerts will be sent automatically with the message “You have an eAlert!” from Trax Credit Union.
- You may add or delete an eAlert at any time.
Yes. If you've forgotten your password, simply select "Forgot Password" in the Online or Mobile Banking login screen and follow the prompts to securely reset your password.
If you're locked out of your Online Banking account, please contact the Trax Call Center at 813-800-8729. After verifying your identity, a representative can unlock your account so you can regain access.
